Hey! Hey!
Here we are another week and another sweet treat! Yay!! Technically, I made this sweet goodie last week for one of my best friends, Logan. Her birthday was on Valentine's day!! And she turned the big 21! So as usual I'm a little behind in posting this, but we celebrated her birth literally ALL week! So there's my excuse for being tardy in posting. I wanted to create something special and really good for her birthday but she requested a strawberry cake and when you have a request from the birthday girl, you better make what they ask! Which was okay, considering I had a fabulous strawberry cake recipe in mind!
And of course it fit with theme of this month with it being the color pink and having fresh strawberries in it, which in my opinion suits the month of LOVE! Anyways, the cake was a hit! She loved it and so did our other friends who enjoyed a tasty bite as well! Overall this recipe was a success! So, I'm sure your wondering what this great recipe entails and all that good stuff! Listed below is the best strawberry cake recipe! I hope you enjoy making this sweet moist goodie! And I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day and shared it someone super special! Until next time...
Ingredients for cake:
White Duncan Hines cake mix

A month of LOVE!!
I can't believe its already the month of February, where is the time going?! So I started this blog last month obviously, and I'm already behind. Either I need to be baking more or time needs to sloooooww down! I know its to bake more; but let me tell you all.. life has been very, very busy for this girl! But I made a promise to myself and you, whoever you are reading this blog that, I would bake once a week for whole year which would equal 52 weeks which also equals 52 sweet treats! Whew, I gotta a lot of catching up to do! As for baking this week, I have made some delicious homemade red velvet cream cheese brownies! This month is all about love with pinks and reds, hearts and flowers, cupid and romance..you get the idea! So with all this love in the air... this month will be dedicated to baking with love by incorporating all things sweet and romantic! I myself am a huge fan of romance, Valentines day is my 2nd favorite holiday! I'm so happy to bake fun sweet treats, cause if you think about it other than flowers for Valentine's day your either going to get some amazing candy or some type of sweet for the holiday, right?!
Alright, on to the good stuff..the RECIPE for these delicious brownies! I have to say this recipe is fairly simple but make sure you have some eggs handy and vanilla because it requires a lot of the two! I hope this month of LOVE is treating you all well and hopefully your special Valentine will make you some of the amazing brownies with of course a tall glass of milk for both of you to share!
